2nd & 3rd shift - Maintenance Tech, $22 / hr Cedar Springs, MI Work in a clean facility! Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Reads work orders in the work order system and / or follows verbal instructions from the Maintenance Supervisor to determine work schedule and duties
• Troubleshoots and repairs production machinery / equipment such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines / equipment, racking systems, etc.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control systems / instruments
• Repairs and / or replaces defective parts
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices / machines
• Lubricates and cleans parts
• Installs new equipment / machines
• Communicates needs for parts and machines through proper channels to acquire PO approval
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and machines such as checking pumps and gear boxes, ensuring oil reservoirs and hydraulic systems have proper oil levels, checking for leaks, etc.
• Documents preventive maintenance work
• Reads and understands electrical diagrams
• Reads and understands blueprints
• Programs manufacturing machines
• Programs and understands PLCs
• Trains and assists new Maintenance Department employees
• Actively participates in work teams and in the company and departmental continuous improvement process
• Complies with Display Pack safety policies and procedures and notifies the supervisor of any safety violations or hazards in the workplace.
• Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or management team

Preferred Skills :

• Computer skills
• High school Diploma / GED
• 3 or more years of mechanical experience
• Mathematical Skills
